Kerry is the founder of Community Supported Postpartum, dedicated to creating ecosystems of care that help parents step out of isolation and into community. A lifelong educator and “village tender,” Kerry has spent over two decades immersed in women’s health and family wellness, teaching others how to create nurturing classes and groups for parents and children worldwide. As a mother, doula, and maternal mental health advocate, she brings joy, creativity, and a passion for helping parents rediscover ease and connection.
Kerry is a parent (both biological and foster), a Waldorf and LifeWays trained early childhood educator (22 years), and a postpartum doula, with additional education in women and gender studies (SUNY Oswego), and maternal mental health care (PSI). She has been facilitating local parent and baby groups for over twelve years in Sonoma County, CA.
She teaches others worldwide with her Village Tenders course and curriculum on how to create parent and baby groups in their towns. Kerry also has online courses and private or couples coaching for parents of younger children that help parents create more ease and joy and less nagging in day-to-day life.
Kerry has been immersed in women’s health and family wellness for over twenty years. With Liberal Arts education in Women’s Studies, Maternal Mental Health, Early Childhood Education and Postpartum Caregiving, she recently completed her Pilates training and is nearly complete in her Pilates for pregnant and postpartum parents certification. Her superpowers are spontaneous kitchen dance parties, funny karaoke, being the secret stylist to her friends, and finding the best deals on flights.
